The Making Place is a community-centered art studio coming soon to the historic town of Alderson, West Virginia, in the majestic Greenbrier Valley, a short drive from Lewisburg. Opening fall of 2026, the studio will serve as an inclusive, welcoming space where individuals of all ages and skill levels can engage in hands-on, creative exploration and community-building activities.

Operating under the direction of artist and educator Michele Pollina, The Making Place will offer affordable art classes, workshops, open studio hours, and family programming for makers of all skill levels.
